BOOKS

in 1999 Phil and I used to have an online rare and out of print used book business. We had over 3 thousand books in our house. we still have a lot of books and books are a large part of our life. Phil is a writer and I am a printer and graphic designer, so when Phil decided he wanted to publish a collection of his poems and stories , it was a natural decision to start a publishing company and that is how our business The Dishes can wait Publishing was born.

When Phil and I would look for books for the business, we would go to thrift stores, estate sales, yard sales, and we bought several whole libraries to build our business. I began to collect childrens books and in particular books by Margaret Wise Brown. In 1999 I started a fan website to list the books in my collection and over the years it has grown to a nearly complete bibliogrpahy of her work.
